I think I need a neck lift. The skin hangs down around my neck in folds. Where is the incision and is the neck muscle actually tightened? Can you remove some neck fat at the same time?
A neck lift is a surgical procedure. Assuming you are healthy, a neck lift is an excellent option to address your concerns. A small incision is placed underneath the chin; through this incision, neck fat is removed with liposuction. Also, muscle bands can be tightened through this incision. Incisions placed behind the hairline allow further tightening of neck muscles and trimming of excess skin. The tightened neck muscle provides a more youthful neckline and a longer lasting result then tightening skin alone.
