Procedure Detail: This 31 year old female presented to Dr. Batniji in consultation for prominent ears. She has had prominent ears all her life and has been hiding her ears behind her hair. Dr. Batniji recommended otoplasty (ear reshaping surgery). This procedure involved excision of excess ear cartilage as well as placement of special stitches, called Mustarde sutures, to reshape the ear. These photos demonstrate her results one month after the procedure.
